Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeit von Poppi. Das Geb\u00e4ude stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert und ist eines der meistbesuchten Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten der gesamten Provinz Arezzo. Im Schloss ist die Rilliana Bibliothek, die 25.000 alte B\u00e4nde bewahrt, besonders interessant. Das mittelalterliche Dorf Poppi, das sich auf der Spitze eines H\u00fcgels befindet, ist unverkennbar dank seinem gro\u00dfen Schloss, das die gesamte Altstadt und einen gro\u00dfen Teil des Casentino -Tals dominiert. Die Stadt, noch immer von ihren m\u00e4chtigen Mauern umgeben, pr\u00e4sentiert sich dem Besucher mit einer sch\u00f6nen und interessanten architektonischen Harmonie, die den Besuch besonders angenehm macht. Poppi gilt als das architektonische Juwel dieses toskanischen Tals, es ist kein Zufall, dass es zu den sch\u00f6nsten D\u00f6rfern Italiens z\u00e4hlt. In Poppi finden wir die S\u00e4ule von Dante, die sich am Anfang der Piana di Campaldino befindet, ein Erinnerungsort an Dante, der 1289 Schauplatz der blutigen Schlacht von Campaldino zwischen den Von Porciano schickte Dante zwei ber\u00fchmte Briefe. Der erste Brief, den er am 31. M\u00e4rz 1311 an die Florentiner schickte, war voller Ressentiments nach der Verbannung, zu der er verurteilt worden war. Im Text forderte er sie auf, sich dem Kaiser zu unterwerfen. Er schickte den zweiten Brief am 16. April 1311 an den Kaiser, um ihn zu dr\u00e4ngen, Florenz einzunehmen.
